Katja Schultz is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of New York dedicated to helping individuals achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life. Her expertise includes voice changes, speech sound production, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
Katja's passion for empowering others led her to spend a decade on the executive board of the Speech and Hearing Association of the Hudson Valley. Katja has been a selected speaker on topics like aging and dysphagia, aphasia, and specialized voice treatments like LSVT LOUD and SPEAK OUT! programs.
Katja specializes in treating various speech and language disorders, including the needs of individuals with Parkinson's Disease. She uses evidence-based techniques and innovative therapies, tailoring treatment plans to each client's unique needs. Her warm, empathetic approach fosters a supportive environment, building strong relationships with clients and their families and promoting a collaborative treatment plan.
Outside of her professional life, Katja enjoys spending time in nature, yoga, and creative hobbies, valuing a healthy work-life balance and recognizing the importance of self-care and personal well-being.
